Utah CIO wants to give staff AI ‘superpowers’
Utah Chief Information Officer Alan Fuller says his state has about a dozen generative artificial intelligence projects underway, some of which are intended to bestow staff with “superpowers.” “We want to make our agents more productive. We call it giving our people superpowers,” Fuller says in an interview with StateScoop. “And so we have a knowledge base of information the tax agents use and we’re going to ground that knowledge to generative AI tools and allow the agents to have a super smart assistant that can help them pull up answers.”
