Local IT Innovation of the Year

The Community Health Needs Assessment is a project in Ventura County, California. As an accredited health department, Ventura County Public Health is required to complete a Community Health Needs Assessment every five years but committed to working collaboratively every three years with area healthcare agencies. In 2022, VCPH used Qualtrics to conduct the assessment enabling decision makers to see data reflected in real-time dashboards. This expedited time to insights and allowed for adjustments in distribution to address gaps in response rates of demographic groups.
