GoldenGov: City Executive of the Year

Kate Bender is the chief analytics officer of Kansas City, Missouri. Previously, Bender served as a deputy performance officer with DataKC, a division of the city manager’s office, where she focuses on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of city services through data-driven decision making. Bender helped form the DataKC office in 2009.
