Jason Piccione is an innovative leader for the California Department of Consumer Affairs. Piccione has lead the department to transform IT to be agile and more business-focused to meet the needs of the 38 boards and bureaus it supports. Through business modernization efforts, DCA is aligning IT to be in concert with these programs. Adopting agile, CI/CD and building a data layer to communicate with legacy backend systems will allow licensees throughout the state to leverage modern applications for application of license and online renewals. Piccionie is also leading the adoption of cloud offerings and application containers to allow for quick to-market strategies.
